This agreement is between Galaxe Consulting Ltd (we/us) and the Client (you)

Validity of Proposal

All our proposals are valid for a period of 4 weeks, unless stated otherwise.

Contract Period

Galaxe's standard contract term is 12 months. All fees are payable in advance, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Contracts work on a 12 months rolling basis, meaning, if we have not received your cancellation in writing,  at least 4 weeks in advance of your renewal date, the contract will continue for another 12 months.

Rights to cancel

Your right to cancel:
You have the right to cancel your contract at any time. However, you need to provide us with a minimum  notice period of 4 weeks (of your monthly contract anniversary date).
If you are paying for your website design on a monthly subscription, the entire outstanding amount of the design fee will have to be paid. Any discounts will be deducted pro rata. 
A copy of the website files, including the database will be provided to you in downloadable zip format, after we have received your final payment.

Our right to cancel:
We have the right to cancel our contract with you at any time, but we will provide you with at least 4 weeks notice period, so that you can make arrangements to transfer your website to another provider.

Your domain names:
If we have registered your domain name for you, you will have been given a registrar handle (if registered with GANDI registrar) and you will be able to provide that information to your new service provider. If we registered your domain name through LCN we will initiate the transfer of that domain name to an account that you can manage yourself. If you ask us to transfer your domain name away from our registrars, their transfer fee (if applicable) and a small handling fee from us will apply. The current handling fee is: £30 per domain name, or our hourly rate, whatever is cheaper.

Right to walk away
(Galaxe Website Design - not applicable if your website design is provided by a partner)

You have the right to walk away, before the website goes live, meaning that if you don't like your design you will not have to pay. You will only need to reimburse us for goods/services that we have acquired for you in your name (with prior agreement).

Breach of contract

You are in breach of contract, should you fail to to make payments by the agreed payment date. This is of particular importance if you are on a monthly payment scheme. We have the right to suspend your website, if payment has not been received by the due date.  If you website is deactivated, an activation fee of £30 will be charged to you.

Should you be in breach of contract, all given discounts are revoked, and full list prices will apply retrospectively.
Galaxe may utilize the services of a credit recovery agency to recover dept.

Services Provided

All our services are provided on “reasonable endeavour”.

Contractual Liability

Contractual liability is restricted to the value of your contract with us.

Domain Names:

If we acquire a domain name for you, a fee of £30 will apply, as we will have to manually process the domain name acquisition. We may choose to waive that fee, if we provide you with hosting and web-design services. However, should you cancel your contract with us we will have the right to ask you to pay the full fee. Should we cancel our contract with you, we may decide to waive this fee, but will not be legally required to do so. Any domain transfer charges, invoiced to us by our registrars will need to be paid by you.

Applicable Law

The law of England will be applicable.

Changes to Contract Terms

These contract terms can change at any time, without prior notice.
